Coronavirus Information For Parent and Student

Dear Osceola Family,

Listed below is the latest information received from the Florida Department of Education and CDC, please ensure that the following steps are practiced, reviewed and shared with your students and parents:

Ensure hand washing strategies include washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or using hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Develop information-sharing systems with parents and local partners.
Perform routine cleaning, including frequently touched surfaces.
It is currently flu season, and we encourage you to continue to stress these common guidelines with all members of the school community, students, staff, and parents:

Get a flu shot, and take flu antivirals if prescribed.
If you are sick, stay home.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Carry and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
Call ahead before visiting your doctor.
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Immediately dispose of the used tissue.
Monitor your symptoms.
